Born in San Antonio, Texas, Isaac Shrager grew up surrounded by basketball as the son of a coach. A true gym rat, he’s been playing competitive basketball since he could first dribble. In 4th grade, Isaac's family moved to Bergen County, NJ, where he quickly immersed himself in the local basketball scene, playing for Hoop Dreamz and later the Rockland Spartans. As a freshman at Northern Valley Old Tappan High School in Bergen County, Isaac played in 26 games and led the varsity team in 3-pointers made. In his sophomore season, he started all 26 games and, despite being consistently face-guarded, finished among the top three-point shooters in Bergen County with 71 made 3-pointers. Standing at 6'4" as a combo guard, Isaac takes great pride in his work ethic and basketball IQ. He has committed countless hours to improving his ball handling, playmaking, and attacking the basket. Looking ahead, Isaac aims to join a college program where he can continue playing the sport he loves, while building relationships with new coaches and teammates. He also values the chance to grow as a student-athlete, gaining life skills through the responsibilities, commitments, and experiences that will benefit him long after his playing career ends.
